Mutant Chronicles is everything the title promises, but not in an exciting X-Men vein
Fans can cheer through the glaringly obvious plot and enjoy brief glimpses of character actors paying the mortgage
It’s no Rumble in the Jungle, but it’s fun enough
Dark, funny, charming, fast, immoral, decadent and delightful, the writer and director Suzie Halewood’s film is a fresh blast of foul air
Yes, I know it’s meant to be some sort of comment on our narcissistic consumer society, but it’s not even scary
The title suggests a depiction of human depravity on a biblical scale
This is one unfunny, vapid bunny I’d like to boil
If it feels a bit ho-hum, it might be because the premise is the sort of thing Doctor Who can cope with inside 50 minutes
Barnes is a surprisingly convincing rapscallion, as the first half of the film gets us rooting for these artful dodgers
The arcane codes are intricately explored, while the casual violence is approached with a chilling nonchalance
This remake of the Korean film Into the Mirror is an exercise in laughably earnest nonsense that barely rustles up a chill
A little short to provide a good wallow, the film has to make do with Lane's presence and Gere's squinty emoting
The circular narrrative - which depicts a plot to steal a valuable emerald - has enough tricks to sustain interest
Despite a smattering of goofily ironic one-liners, Wolf has delivered a film that is more clueless than Clueless
Inspired by the classic Brit crime movies of the Sixties and Seventies, it fails to match them in tension or quality of writing
Halewood's film is a depressing, grubby-looking little film with an undercurrent of particularly mean-spirited misogyny
A screenplay that sounds like it was hewn from chunks of wood, everyone comes out of this battle looking equally inept
This quirky film looks like a Heath Robinson experiment; it is too sour for young children, and too moth-eaten for teenagers
Adam Yauch’s documentary hinges on a famous annual basketball match between up-and-coming college stars in New York
Here, Alexandre Aja has gained a budget and lost some of the raw, 1970s-style effectiveness of his earlier film
Explore your passion for food with the delights of Thai, Indian & Chinese cooking
In our new series, Tony Hawks takes a dry, wry look at modern life - junk mail, interminable meetings and snooty sales assistants
